The 5th ANW (Working Group on Natural Forest Management) University Days concluded with a practical exercise on two newly established marteloscopes in the teaching forest district of Tharandt Forest.
The Integrate Network will contribute to the upcoming FOREXT Fridays webinar on 26 June 2026, showcasing how Marteloscopes support integrative forest management by helping practitioners balance biodiversity conservation and forest use objectives.
During April and May various Marteloscope workshops are already taking place in Ireland, organised by Teagasc Forestry Development Department (National Forest Extension Agency) in collaboration with the Forestry Division of the Department of Agriculture Food and the Marine (DAFM).
The Integrate Network hosts and manages nearly 300 demonstration sites (so called “marteloscopes”) in 27 European countries. In April 2026, a first site was added to North America, namely Canada.
